This Privacy Policy describes how Numbr Up ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and stores information when you use our application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the game experience:

Account information — if you register, we store your username, email address, and a hashed password. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Game data — your scores, solve history, streaks, and hint usage for each daily puzzle.
Google Sign-In — if you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID and email address. We do not receive your Google password.

Guest players (no account) have no data stored on our servers. Game state is stored locally on your device only.

2. How We Use Your Information

To display your scores on the leaderboard and track your personal stats.
To persist your progress across devices when you are signed in.
To calculate streaks and achievements.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties.

3. Data Storage

Data is stored on servers hosted by Railway (railway.app). Guest players' game state is stored only in their browser's local storage and is never sent to our servers.

4. Data Retention

Your account and game data are retained for as long as your account exists. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the account deletion page.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to save your game state, theme preference, and authentication token (on the Android app). We use a session cookie on the web version to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Children's Privacy

Numbr Up is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
